Our Statement of Principle

Open Door Re-entry & Recovery Ministry is an outreach ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ through His Church. Open Door Re-entry & Recovery Ministry is committed to expressing the truth of His gospel to all clients in both words and indeed. All volunteers and staff must know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. In adherence to His Word, Open Door Re-entry and Recovery Ministry is committed to a life change that occurs through a committed relationship and service in Jesus Christ.

Open Door Re-entry & Recovery Ministry is committed to:

  1. Character transformation and successful community transition for all clients accepted into the Open Door residency program.

  4. Ensuring all staff and volunteers receive proper training to execute duties that enable spiritual, emotional and physical growth of all clients.
  5. Working with Christian churches, service, and legal organizations to help clients develop the moral character that lines up with ethical values and community standards.
  6. Providing transitional employment opportunities for clients as part of the recovery process that includes financially participating by the client in assisting with housing, food, recovery literature, transportation, and staff expenses.
  7. Providing services that do not discriminate based on race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status of its clients.
  8. Ensuring all information associated with the Open Door residences program is protected and properly handled by all Open Door staff and volunteers.
  9. Adherence with National Association of Evangelical’s Statement of Faith.
